"I can't find enough words to thank your organization for the thoughtful work that has been done to my home. It's been a year and 5 months now that I've been displaced from my residence. My former insurance company didn't replace my damaged roof although it was caused by the storm. FEMA didn't provide any funding for recovery and the SBA declined me for a relief loan. I've reached out to my congresswoman, the mayor's office of my city and other organizations to no avail that were slated to provide assistance. It's been a heart-wrenching, painful journey as I felt and feel like a voice crying into the wind. I am very blessed to have family in town to live with, but there's no place like home. I've been approached by several scam artists that were looking to take advantage of affected homeowners. It breaks my heart that people can be so cruel and manipulative at a time of loss.

I believe that we are placed on this earth to love others and make a difference in people's lives. ICNA Relief is a true blessing! When I met Arif Ali, his demeanor was kind, compassionate and caring. He came in, assessed the damage and fully explained the process. He is truly a sound and solid representative of ICNA Relief and what your organization stand for! The volunteers that assisted worked tirelessly to complete the tasks at hand. I felt better each step of the way because prayers are being answered!

I'd like to send a special thank you to ALL of the donors, volunteers, sponsors and other organizations that give of their time and resources to provide a hand up to others in need. Your acts of love and kindness will NEVER be forgotten!

Last Weekend, Shifa Clinic Held an Iftaar/Dinner to Congratulate and Honor the Doctors and Volunteers who have helped shape the clinic into what it has become. We would like to thank Dr. Abu Raihan and our Volunteer Support Team for organizing the event.
More than one hundred guests attended including the ICNA Atlanta President, Brother Matloob Ahmed Khan who distributed awards.
We would also like to thank Imam Yasir for opening our event with the recitation of Qur'an and Imam Zakirullah on his speech on Charity and Islam.

Please donate to our GoFundMe page which will be used to accrue funds to make much needed upgrades to the Clinic https://www.gofundme.com/Shifa-Clinic-Atlanta

It takes so much strength to leave your abuser and even more so if you have no where to go. With over 17 women's transitional homes across the country, we are working hard every day to provide a safe haven for sisters, but we need your help. We are partnering with Lisa Vogl, co-founder of Verona Collection, survivor of domestic violence, and outspoken advocate for survivors, to open up a Domestic Violence shelter in Orlando.

This Ramadan we ask you to help sponsor a shelter where abused and abandoned sisters and children can heal and grow. LaunchGood.com/DVshelterOR. #neveragain
