ICNA Relief's Shifa Free Clinic, Duluth is partnering with Emory University School of Medicine Diabetes Study Group for an ongoing educational workshop. They conducted small group discussions, power point presentation, and Q/A to 15 selected diabetic patients. End of the workshop home care kits are provided so that the diabetic patients can monitor blood sugar at home. This is a great service to the community and key to keep diabetes in control. We are thankful for Emory University School of Medicine Diabetes Study Group for their resourceful material and partnership.
Please note the educational workshops are by invitation only to limit the numbers due to health safety measures and social distancing.
