Alhumdulliah. We had a full house at yesterday's event Healing Trauma through health and wellness. Special shout out to MACE - Muslim Advocates of Children with Exceptionalities for doing a wonderful job in providing the tools and resources needed for our community.

I am so proud of ICNA Relief and MACE for bringing this trauma awareness program to our community. I love the support I received from ICNA Relief during the development of this program. As the co-founder of MACE, I am extremely proud of this endeavor and effort. May Allah reward ICNA Relief, ameen!
-Sister Sabria, MACE co-founder

What an amazing program mashAlllah. Having resources and to know what signs to look for with children dealing with trauma can really help our community grow and help with the our children’s development. We need more of these workshops in our community.
-Sister Fatimah, Attendee

I’m someone that works at special need classroom with autism and severe level one. I’m a therapist for behavior support. It’s okay to seek help. We need to recognize that it’s needed and the sooner you accept the trauma then it’ll be easier to overcome.
We are all humans and there is no racism, God created us all as humans race. There are people that created dividers. We all are one race; we are all human race. Everybody needs to get together (Christians, Jews, Muslims) and unite to be against the wrongdoers.
-Edisa, Behavioral Therapist with MACE

"Volunteering at ICNA for the Alabama tornado relief was an extremely rewarding experience. Seeing torn and damadged areas and participating in the clean up process was very humbling. ICNA properly organized the travel and coordinated with the local community to get enthusiastic and motivated volunteers of all ages to help. I high recommend ICNA Relief as an option for anyone looking to give back to the community and volunteer their time." -Syed, Volunteer 25 volunteers spent last Saturday helping out the tornado victims of Alabama.
